FOODS THAT SPEAK Newsletter
Have you ever wondered why you are craving certain foods? What is it about that particular food that beckons to you? Why do you always have a weakness for sweets?
The answer might be found in the messages that certain foods are giving out. All substances on earth are made of vibrations and have their signature, so to speak, in that vibration. It is quite easy to read the vibration of a person whether they are sad or happy or distressed, even if they don't say an audible word to you. You pick up their vibration and either are drawn towards them or repelled.
Foods are much the same way.
For instance the message of chocolate really is love, but the added message is confusion. So when you consume chocolate, you get the vibration of love, but the downside of that is that you also get the message of confusion. So I feel loved, ummm by the chocolate, but what is that added feeling that I can barely discern? Some of the oils that can stop a craving for chocolate are, Eucalyptus Globilus, Helichrysum and Jasmine. Try it sometime when you are having a real hard time staying away from the chocolate and you don't want the extra calories of chocolate. Use the oils instead and you will just feel the craving dissipate.
Another food that we all struggle with is sugar. Why do we love sugar so much? Sugar speaks to the body of spontaneity, but the added message is vulnerability. Go ahead and be spontaneous, but if you are spontaneous, you are also going to be vulnerable. The desire to be spontaneous must be a common great desire because we go for that even in light of the vulnerability. The body doesn't differentiate between emotional vulnerablility and physical vulnerability so we might feel it emotionally or we truly might become vulnerable and susceptible to many other vibrations due to our sugar consumption. It's interesting that one oil that will speak to the craving of sugar is cistus. Cistus is an immune system builder. Look up Cistus in the Profile section under Essential Oils and Minerals on this website.
I'll list more foods that speak next time. Please send me your comments and suggestions for improving the newsletter.
